For Zabbix 6.0 – 7.x · macOS 14+

Your Zabbix problems, one click away in the menu bar.

Zabbix Toolbar watches your Zabbix servers and puts every active problem in your Mac’s menu bar — with native notifications, quick acknowledgements and nothing to install on the server.

v1.0.1 · 2.7 MB · Notarized by Apple

Features

Everything you need to react, nothing you don’t.

See everything at a glance

A red Z with a count means something needs you. Open it for the full list — compact, one line per problem, or extended with severity, start time and host groups as tags.

Click any problem to open the event in Zabbix. Mark it as seen with ✓ and the count goes down.

Acknowledge without leaving your desk PRO

Right-click a problem to acknowledge it in Zabbix: add a message, close it when the trigger allows, change its severity or undo an acknowledgement.

Prefer one click? Set ✓ to acknowledge in Zabbix instead of marking as seen on this Mac.

Snooze the noise PRO

Already on it? Snooze a problem for 1 hour, 4 hours, until 8 AM or a custom time.

It moves to a collapsed Snoozed section and comes back on its own when the time is up.

Alerts that match the severity PRO

Choose, per severity, whether to get a notification and which system sound plays. A disaster can sound like one; a warning can stay quiet.

One sound per poll — the one for the most severe new problem.

All your servers, filtered your way

Monitor production, staging and that one legacy box from the same icon. Ignore host groups you don’t care about and set a minimum severity per server.

Host group filtering is free. Multiple servers and minimum severity are part of Pro.

Privacy

Your monitoring data stays on your Mac.

  • Credentials in the Keychain

API tokens and passwords are stored in the macOS Keychain, never in plain files.

  • Straight to your Zabbix

The app talks directly to your servers. Addresses, hosts and problems never leave your Mac.

  • Anonymous, optional stats

A few anonymous events help count active installs. Turn them off in Settings → General → Privacy.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Which Zabbix versions are supported?

Zabbix 6.0 through 7.x, including 7.2 and later. You can sign in with an API token or a username and password.

What data leaves my Mac?

Nothing about your Zabbix servers: addresses, hosts, problems and credentials stay on your Mac, and the app talks directly to your Zabbix. The app sends a few anonymous usage events (you can turn them off), license checks to Polar and a daily update check. Details in the Privacy Policy.

Do I need Pro?

No. The Free plan monitors one server with the full problem list and notifications, with no time limit. Pro adds unlimited servers, acknowledging in Zabbix, snooze, minimum severity and alerts per severity.

How many Macs can use one license?

Up to 2 Macs at the same time. To move a license, open Settings → License → Deactivate on this Mac on the old one.

What happens if I cancel?

Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Then the app goes back to Free and keeps all your settings; one server stays monitored, and you choose which one.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Monitoring only needs your Zabbix server. If the app can’t reach the license server, Pro keeps working for 7 days.
