Terms of Use

Effective October 1, 2026

These terms apply to the Zabbix Toolbar app (“the app”) and its Pro subscription, provided by Alex Montoanelli (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control, under the Free plan or, with an active subscription, the Pro plan. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or modify the app, or work around its license checks, except where the law expressly allows it.

Free and Pro

The Free plan is free of charge and monitors one Zabbix server. The Pro plan is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that unlocks the features described on our website. Each Pro license can be active on up to 2 Macs at the same time.

Purchases, renewals and refunds

Subscriptions are sold through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar processes payments, charges applicable taxes and handles refunds under its terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the customer portal; Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid for.

Prices may change. Changes apply from your next renewal, and we’ll announce them in advance.

License checks

The app checks your Pro license with Polar once a day. If it can’t reach the license server, Pro keeps working for 7 days. When a subscription ends, the app returns to the Free plan and keeps your settings.

Not a replacement for Zabbix alerting

The app shows problems from your Zabbix servers and notifies you on your Mac. It depends on your network, your Zabbix servers, macOS notification settings and your Mac being awake. It is not designed to be your only alerting or escalation channel; keep Zabbix’s own actions and notifications in place for anything critical.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that every problem or notification will be delivered.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or downtime, arising from the use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Zabbix is a registered trademark of Zabbix SIA. Zabbix Toolbar is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Zabbix SIA. macOS is a trademark of Apple Inc.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Brazil, without prejudice to consumer protection rights you may have where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll publish the new version on this page with a new effective date; continuing to use the app after that means you accept them.
